The Los Muñes de Don Cuco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baron Buffon should have stopped the shot. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Baron Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xepe Godan in the 39th minute of play. Rien Oss might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafin Bernal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rien Oss ran back to his position shaking his head. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xepe Godan to make the kick off.
