The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rein Keerme made in the 24th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Atilano Idacio. After a defensive mix-up in CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's zone, Rien Oss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ter Stefanek came out of the goal and Rien Oss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the match, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Rien Oss sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ter Stefanek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Rien Oss dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ter Stefanek, 1-0. After some careless play in the CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS defense, Rien Oss kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ter Stefanek. The CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ter Stefanek should have stopped the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Rein Keerme in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Wilfredo Mero. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stamen Tekeliev in the 43rd minute of play forced Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goalkeeper Baron Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 54th minute Costin Moscu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baron Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS made a substitution. Erhan Sarıoğlu replaced Atilano Idacio. Los Muñes de Don Cuco made a substitution. Peyami Hasanbeyli replaced Truylos Barbari. Stamen Tekeliev received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Baron Buffon came out and tried to block the shot, but Stamen Tekeliev slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 71st minute. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS made a substitution. Edward Huyghebaert replaced Benito Fiz. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Enio Coelho was substituted for Stamen Tekeliev. 78 minutes into the match, CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Pero came free, but Ter Stefanek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
