Maximiliano Astudillo made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Cristo Ramond sent off a good shot on target. Abelardo Roland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evaristo Roldan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Maximiliano Astudillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Teuma Castelletti in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th play minute Maximino Illan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Maximiliano Astudillo. 2-0. Marcelo Petrigai might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximiliano Astudillo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Petrigai ran back to his position shaking his head. After 19 played minutes Cuervos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Beremundo. Edgardo Resto charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgardo Resto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Edgardo Resto got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 29 minutes into the match, Charles Teuma Castelletti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximiliano Astudillo. SAN MARTIN F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charles Teuma Castelletti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Marcelo Petrigai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Maximiliano Astudillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Marcelo Petrigai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximiliano Astudillo was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Maximiliano Astudillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Teuma Castelletti in the 41st minute of the match. With a little luck, SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Maximiliano Astudillo got control of the ball when Maximino Illan tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Jairo Ritchie fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SAN MARTIN F.C.'s protests and gave Jairo Ritchie a yellow card for diving instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Charles Teuma Castelletti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Astudillo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Teuma Castelletti in the 68th minute of play forced SAN MARTIN F.C.'s goalkeeper Maximiliano Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Astudillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Teuma Castelletti in the 72nd minute of the match. Maximiliano Astudillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Teuma Castelletti in the 75th minute of play. Maximiliano Astudillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edgardo Resto made in the 82nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Bernardino Ospin however managed to control. 84 minutes into the match, SAN MARTIN F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Charles Teuma Castelletti came free, but Maximiliano Astudillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Cuervos AFC booed when SAN MARTIN F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Resto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cuervos AFC's Concetto Lenzi got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Charles Teuma Castelletti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
