Victoriano Bernaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Frasco in the 6th minute. Victoriano Bernaldo made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Enrique Frasco sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Juniors FC's Enrique Frasco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victoriano Bernaldo. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. Lázaro Colon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darryl Buckner, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Juniors FC's Lázaro Colon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wei Li in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute of the match Dep Colonia Avellaneda got a corner. Juniors FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Claudio Cerritos ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Santo Libertad got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lázaro Colon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Dep Colonia Avellaneda getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Pascual Lesardo hit a great ball. Wlodzimierz Lepper took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Victoriano Bernaldo. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo got control of the ball when Enrique Frasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lázaro Colon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Rosa in the 22nd minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Rosa lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Lázaro Colon. Darryl Buckner in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lázaro Colon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Humberto Lange took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victoriano Bernaldo. Victoriano Bernaldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Victoriano Bernaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Lange in the 77th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Rosa got free with Lázaro Colon in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Darryl Buckner in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Darryl Buckner got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victoriano Bernaldo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Humberto Lange went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalkeeper Victoriano Bernaldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Many of Dep Colonia Avellaneda's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Dep Colonia Avellaneda may have spent more time on the ball, but Juniors FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
