Pierluigi Buffon came out of the goal and Conrado Erramun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the game, Conrado Erramun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Pierluigi Buffon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute Lluis Companys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Udalaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeo Udalaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Lebas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rdth minute of the game Igor Lebas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Machine Gun Kelly's Tadeo Udalaitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Machine Gun Kelly were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after KaoS Futbol Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Conrado Erramun took the corner. Machine Gun Kelly's Conrado Erramun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pierluigi Buffon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the KaoS Futbol Club defense, Abdul Jabbar Mansur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pierluigi Buffon. The KaoS Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pierluigi Buffon should have stopped the shot. If Conrado Erramun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tadeo Udalaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lluis Companys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Machine Gun Kelly's Tadeo Udalaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Lebas in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Conrado Erramun was the one to do the kick off. Pierluigi Buffon was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Aristides Boniel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aristides Boniel really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Lebas in the 64th minute of play forced Machine Gun Kelly's goalkeeper Tadeo Udalaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristides Boniel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Pierluigi Buffon made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lluis Companys in the 71st minute of play forced Machine Gun Kelly's goalkeeper Tadeo Udalaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Lebas might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeo Udalaitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 87th match minute, Machine Gun Kelly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Sá to maneuver through the defense. The KaoS Futbol Club manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Machine Gun Kelly to win.
