The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Conrado Erramun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 6 minutes into the game, Conrado Erramun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Victoriano Bernaldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Santo Libertad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Machine Gun Kelly's Boguslaw Zdanowicz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Pascual Lesardo, made in the 16th minute of the game. In the 18th minute Darryl Buckner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Udalaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Conrado Erramun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute Conrado Erramun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Bernaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Dep Colonia Avellaneda defense, Conrado Erramun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victoriano Bernaldo. The Dep Colonia Avellaneda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victoriano Bernaldo should have stopped the shot. Conrado Erramun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victoriano Bernaldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Tadeo Udalaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darryl Buckner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conrado Erramun scored 0-3 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victoriano Bernaldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Conrado Erramun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victoriano Bernaldo having to make a save. 38 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Erramun came free, but Victoriano Bernaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Conrado Erramun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victoriano Bernaldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 46 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Erramun came free, but Victoriano Bernaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 minutes of play, Machine Gun Kelly's Conrado Erramun made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victoriano Bernaldo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Machine Gun Kelly were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Machine Gun Kelly made a substitution. Tony Parker replaced Sebastian Kismi. A hard shot 52 in the game by Conrado Erramun from a close distance when the talented Victoriano Bernaldo managed to make a qualified save. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's players were relieved. In the 54th minute, Conrado Erramun made a precise shot to the right of Victoriano Bernaldo. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Conrado Erramun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Victoriano Bernaldo made a huge save. Machine Gun Kelly made a substitution. Machine Gun Kelly were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Dep Colonia Avellaneda's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aristides Boniel took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wei Li in the 62nd minute of play forced Machine Gun Kelly's goalkeeper Tadeo Udalaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Boniel came free, but Victoriano Bernaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Machine Gun Kelly's Aristides Boniel got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aristides Boniel in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victoriano Bernaldo saved Dep Colonia Avellaneda from getting behind. After 83 minutes Dep Colonia Avellaneda's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aristides Boniel who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Machine Gun Kelly's corner Aristides Boniel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Victoriano Bernaldo quite easily take care of the ball. Tony Parkers short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Victoriano Bernaldo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Victoriano Bernaldo was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Aristides Boniel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aristides Boniel really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Aristides Boniel might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victoriano Bernaldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aristides Boniel ran back to his position shaking his head. Victoriano Bernaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aristides Boniel in the 87th minute. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Boniel in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalkeeper Victoriano Bernaldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Victoriano Bernaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Boniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Tony Parker might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victoriano Bernaldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tony Parker ran back to his position shaking his head. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Machine Gun Kelly walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
