An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazil Canay in the 18th minute of play forced Club Sportivo Italiano's goalkeeper Reynaldo Stephen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reynaldo Stephen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nazil Canay in the 19th minute of play. Reynaldo Stephen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nazil Canay, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Eustacio Misael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Pes in the 34th minute of the match. In the 43rd match minute, Guns And Roses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Bordat to maneuver through the defense. Club Sportivo Italiano's Reynaldo Stephen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nazil Canay in the 45th minute of play. After 49 minutes Guns And Roses's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luisito Bikendi who took care of the corner kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evelio Pes to make the kick off. Reynaldo Stephen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Txatxu in the 52nd minute of play. After 52 minutes of play, Guns And Roses's Agustin Txatxu made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reynaldo Stephen was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Club Sportivo Italiano's zone, Segundo Bordat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Stephen came out of the goal and Segundo Bordat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Guns And Roses's Nazil Canay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reynaldo Stephen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guns And Roses's Eustacio Misael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Claris in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th match minute, Club Sportivo Italiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sol Campbell to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Club Sportivo Italiano defense, Segundo Bordat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reynaldo Stephen. The Club Sportivo Italiano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reynaldo Stephen should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Guns And Roses booed when Club Sportivo Italiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Claris didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Reynaldo Stephen managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Guns And Roses's Lukas Podolski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Club Sportivo Italiano's Reynaldo Stephen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Admon in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute Guns And Roses were awarded a corner. Segundo Bordat went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Guns And Roses's corner Segundo Bordat fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Reynaldo Stephen quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theo Hayles in the 78th minute of play forced Guns And Roses's goalkeeper Eustacio Misael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lukas Podolski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reynaldo Stephen having to make a save. In the 84th minute Lukas Podolski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Stephen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eustacio Misael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theo Hayles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reynaldo Stephen stood somewhat misplaced when Lukas Podolski came free in front of goal and shot 1-5 to the left of him in the 88 minute. Guns And Roses's Segundo Bordat was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Reynaldo Stephen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 95th play minute Lukas Podolski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Reynaldo Stephen. 1-6. The Guns And Roses supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Guns And Roses would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
