After 23 minutes Dep Colonia Avellaneda's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Raul Vigil who took care of the corner kick. Equipo's Emiliano Lluterio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Victoriano Bernaldo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Emiliano Lluterio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismael Furman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Libertad, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Victoriano Bernaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pietro Salles in the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Pietro Salles came free, but Victoriano Bernaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Pietro Salles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victoriano Bernaldo was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Vasile Tufescu got a throw-in 42 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Mariano Silbestre. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Darryl Buckner made a kick off. After some careless play in the Dep Colonia Avellaneda defense, Ronaldo Cristi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victoriano Bernaldo. The Dep Colonia Avellaneda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victoriano Bernaldo should have stopped the shot. Ronaldo Cristi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Equipo fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Equipo's Ronaldo Cristi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Cristi in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Cristi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Victoriano Bernaldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ismael Furman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wei Li, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Darryl Buckner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Equipo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Dep Colonia Avellaneda for a fine match.
