In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's goalkeeper Xie Bang Ang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dario Astigar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Haegg in the 22nd minute of the match. Xie Bang Ang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Nuñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper Dario Astigar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Haegg.

After 50 minutes, Robert Haegg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ARedonditos de Ricota CFK and the SAN LORENZO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Haegg in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dario Astigar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dario Astigar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robert Haegg went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK made a substitution. Emilio Polo replaced Guaberto Matro. In the 63rdth minute of the game Florentino Berasko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SAN LORENZO FC's Dario Astigar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th minute Emilio Gonzales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Astigar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SAN LORENZO FC's Isaias Rosario was substituted for Allan Blom. Florentino Berasko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Dario Astigar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Toto Monti kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Xie Bang Ang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shao Zhen Xiao, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Ciriaco Cordarrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xie Bang Ang having to interfere. SAN LORENZO FC's Dario Astigar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Gonzales in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Berasko came free, but Dario Astigar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK could leave the field as winners, despite SAN LORENZO FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
