The supporters of Club Sportivo Italiano booed when Azul Y Plomo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evelio Pes took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zacarias Cabrero. Zacarias Cabrero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Zacarias Cabrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theo Hayles in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Azul Y Plomo's zone, Theo Hayles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Cabrero came out of the goal and Theo Hayles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute Navarro Rojas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Stephen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reynaldo Stephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector-Luis Arzola in the 21st minute of the match. Reynaldo Stephen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector-Luis Arzola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evelio Pes got free with Zacarias Cabrero in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute Evelio Pes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Cabrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector-Luis Arzola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Evelio Pes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Sportivo Italiano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Azul Y Plomo the free kick. After a rather tough play, Club Sportivo Italiano's Evelio Pes got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 45thth minute of the game Evelio Pes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Azul Y Plomo's Zacarias Cabrero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evelio Pes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, José Macías hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Macías hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Azul Y Plomo's Diaz Mota got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
