Lázaro Colon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nazil Canay in the 3rd minute of play. Eustacio Misael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Loi in the 10th minute of play. Paulino Osoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. When Segundo Bordat came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Guns And Roses fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Segundo Bordat couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Lázaro Colon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Guns And Roses's Nazil Canay managed to work through Juniors FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Nazil Canay dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Eustacio Misael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Frasco in the 23rd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Guns And Roses's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Loi came free, but Eustacio Misael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guns And Roses's Eustacio Misael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Porfirio in the 34th minute of play. After 35 minutes, Agustin Txatxu made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Juniors FC's Lázaro Colon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th minute Nazil Canay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Colon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrique Frasco to make the kick off. The supporters of Juniors FC booed when Guns And Roses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Gutxi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicanor Porfirio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eustacio Misael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Enrique Frasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juniors FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Frasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eustacio Misael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nazil Canay scored 2-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lázaro Colon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Juniors FC made a substitution. Severino Garikoitz replaced Nicanor Porfirio. Guns And Roses made a substitution. Lukas Podolski replaced Nazil Canay. Guns And Roses's Luis Admon was substituted for Agustin Txatxu.
