The referee ignored La Cosa Nostra's protests and gave Benjamin Rafel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to La Cosa Nostra getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Benjamin Rafel hit a great ball. If Hans Otterlei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gao Fei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Otterlei, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Hans Otterlei might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gao Fei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hans Otterlei ran back to his position shaking his head. When Hans Otterlei came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the La Cosa Nostra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Otterlei couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hans Otterlei in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gao Fei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After taking down the ball on La Cosa Nostra's corner Arnaldo Perpinya fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gao Fei quite easily take care of the ball. In the 21st match minute, Real Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Maldonado to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans Otterlei in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gao Fei saved Real Racing Club from getting behind. Real Racing Club's Gao Fei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Otterlei in the 61st minute of play. Gao Fei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Otterlei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th match minute, Real Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Maldonado to maneuver through the defense. La Cosa Nostra made a substitution. Marciano Bizen replaced Hans Otterlei. La Cosa Nostra's Bartolo Nesor was substituted for Arnaldo Perpinya.
