Argyris Zagorakis started the match with the kick off. Qwinton Blazquez hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 3rd minute of the match Pertti Koskenkorva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kıvanç Yücesan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. SC Pfullendorf's Kıvanç Yücesan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pawel Mietus in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rahim Niğdeli in the 9th minute of play forced SC Pfullendorf's goalkeeper Kıvanç Yücesan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Rodríguez in the 10th minute of play forced NAGANO F.C's goalkeeper Vellito Alguerdo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rahim Niğdeli in the 12th minute of play forced SC Pfullendorf's goalkeeper Kıvanç Yücesan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Pfullendorf were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after NAGANO F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Moya took the corner. After taking down the ball on SC Pfullendorf's corner Karel Van Den Abeele fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vellito Alguerdo quite easily take care of the ball. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Karel Van Den Abeele put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vellito Alguerdo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pawel Mietus in the 19th minute of play forced SC Pfullendorf's goalkeeper Kıvanç Yücesan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. NAGANO F.C were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after SC Pfullendorf's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pertti Koskenkorva took the corner. Kıvanç Yücesan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bar Olo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Argyris Zagorakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vellito Alguerdo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to NAGANO F.C getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Clodoveo Weather hit a great ball. David Moya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Vellito Alguerdo made a huge save. Kıvanç Yücesan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pawel Mietus, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. If Rahim Niğdeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, NAGANO F.C's Roberto Finotti got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rahim Niğdeli was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, SC Pfullendorf's goal looked a bit too open when Rahim Niğdeli came free, but Kıvanç Yücesan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Pfullendorf's 彭森银 was substituted for Argyris Zagorakis. In the 63rd minute 彭森银 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vellito Alguerdo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kıvanç Yücesan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rahim Niğdeli's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the game, NAGANO F.C's Rahim Niğdeli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 73rd minute, one of SC Pfullendorf:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Pfullendorf. NAGANO F.C's Vellito Alguerdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 彭森银 in the 77th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rahim Niğdeli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kıvanç Yücesan was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. In the 81st minute of the match NAGANO F.C got a corner. SC Pfullendorf's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The supporters of SC Pfullendorf booed when NAGANO F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Beckenbauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Pfullendorf's zone, Rahim Niğdeli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kıvanç Yücesan came out of the goal and Rahim Niğdeli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of SC Pfullendorf booed when NAGANO F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Beckenbauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Veto Harroyo hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. 彭森银 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vellito Alguerdo having to make a save. NAGANO F.C's Vellito Alguerdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 彭森银 in the 97th minute of play. NAGANO F.C played a much better game than SC Pfullendorf and deserved their victory. The SC Pfullendorf players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
