The La Cosa Nostra fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when La Cosa Nostra's Hans Otterlei looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rodrigo Massó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Otterlei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hans Otterlei scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodrigo Massó, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joel Delfino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Simon Ferrer in the 14th minute. Hans Otterlei took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Massó. Rodrigo Massó dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. PLUMIN's Rodrigo Massó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Alvarez in the 22nd minute of play. If Hans Otterlei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30thth minute of the game Hans Otterlei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PLUMIN's Rodrigo Massó was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joel Delfino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Berto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Delfino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Berto, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Joel Delfino successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 45 minutes into the match, La Cosa Nostra's Hans Otterlei sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodrigo Massó narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rodrigo Massó came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by La Cosa Nostra's Hans Otterlei. But to his dismay, Hans Otterlei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Disappointed in the 2-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hans Otterlei was the one to do the kick off. Hans Otterlei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodrigo Massó read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Joel Delfino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Ferrer in the 55th minute of the match. In the 81stth minute of the game Marciano Bizen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PLUMIN's Rodrigo Massó was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rodrigo Massó was a little too slow when Marciano Bizen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 2-6. 91 minutes into the match, Marciano Bizen notched a goal, 2-7, to the right of PLUMIN's Rodrigo Massó. Rodrigo Massó was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In a very dangerous position, a player in PLUMIN fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 97th minute. Penalty! The referee gave La Cosa Nostra a penalty, 98 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bartolo Nesor, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of PLUMIN's Rodrigo Massó. 2-8. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. La Cosa Nostra had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
