Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Romão Mourato started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With an all-out effort, Fetiyerd's Ricardo Ceberiche threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Severiano Rua, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Fetiyerd's zone, Romão Mourato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Montes Quevedo came out of the goal and Romão Mourato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Montes Quevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romão Mourato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Ceberiche came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Fetiyerd's Kenneth Heise. But to his dismay, Kenneth Heise quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurelio Rivas got free with Ricardo Ceberiche in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the game, Pontus Picado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Montes Quevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Washington Piedrahita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raymond Litago kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Fetiyerd's Aurelio Rivas got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute of the match Fetiyerd got a corner. Roneros F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arjen Robben ran over to the corner to take the kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Ricardo Ceberiche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Rua in the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Romão Mourato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jiang Sha got free with Montes Quevedo in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Montes Quevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Witomir Jestrimski went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Fetiyerd made a substitution. Emeterio Gene replaced Julián Paris. Roneros F.C.'s Patrick Viera was substituted for Romão Mourato. After some careless play in the Fetiyerd defense, Witomir Jestrimski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Montes Quevedo. The Fetiyerd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Montes Quevedo should have stopped the shot. Montes Quevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witomir Jestrimski, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Montes Quevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Viera in the 78th minute of play. Montes Quevedo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patrick Viera showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 79 minute of play. In the 87th minute, Roneros F.C.'s Carlos Gardel seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Carlos Gardel the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Roneros F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Carlos Gardel had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Roneros F.C.! Jiang Sha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roneros F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
