After 46 played minutes TiGrEs Fx got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Matute. In the 48thth minute of the game Laurenz Goddez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TiGrEs Fx's Franc Merlot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. La Candela FC's Damian Servando was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Franc Merlot in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilberto Rancaño to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the TiGrEs Fx defense, Daniel Borsos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franc Merlot. The TiGrEs Fx fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franc Merlot should have stopped the shot. TiGrEs Fx's Junior Saron was substituted for José Madero. Mister Peet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Urdin having to interfere. Franc Merlot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Borsos in the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to TiGrEs Fx getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Hugo Quintana hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, La Candela FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Urdin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilberto Rancaño. Franc Merlot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Borsos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of La Candela FC booed when TiGrEs Fx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mister Peet didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 81 played minutes, La Candela FC's Salim Mammeri shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Franc Merlot came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Candela FC reached it. The supporters of TiGrEs Fx booed when La Candela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Mendoza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franc Merlot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Borsos, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. TiGrEs Fx's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
