Guter Tobia took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celso Tavera. Celso Tavera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Modroñes defense, Guter Tobia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celso Tavera. The Modroñes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celso Tavera should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tamer Yalçıner in the 12th minute of play forced Modroñes's goalkeeper Celso Tavera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcial Bakar came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Modroñes's Serbülent Tokuş. But to his dismay, Serbülent Tokuş quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Fortunato Taviel hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. If Guter Tobia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th match minute, Modroñes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Ali Ünlüsoy to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute Enric Patiño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Bakar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aves Negras's Marcial Bakar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enric Patiño in the 26th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Aves Negras's goal looked a bit too open when Enric Patiño came free, but Marcial Bakar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celso Tavera came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Aves Negras's Guter Tobia. But to his dismay, Guter Tobia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Babür Mertoğlu in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcial Bakar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Celso Tavera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guter Tobia in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Enric Patiño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Bakar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrey Kapitanski hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Babür Mertoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Marcial Bakar made a huge save. Guter Tobia struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Celso Tavera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aves Negras. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Aves Negras's Guter Tobia got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dráuzio Cavalcante's late challenge caught a Aves Negras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dráuzio Cavalcante helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Babür Mertoğlu in the 85th minute of play forced Aves Negras's goalkeeper Marcial Bakar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cao Chen Yu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Celso Tavera firmly grabbed it by the left post. 89 minutes into the game, Aves Negras's Efrain Artal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celso Tavera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. After having played for 92 minutes, Efrain Artal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aves Negras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efrain Artal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the game, Aves Negras's Efrain Artal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celso Tavera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. After a rather tough play, Modroñes's Mustafa Ali Ünlüsoy got a free kick in the 98th minute. Celso Tavera stood somewhat misplaced when Efrain Artal came free in front of goal and shot 1-6 to the left of him in the 100 minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Aves Negras eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
