Rodolfo Anaya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Rodolfo Anaya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zico Zellier went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Sven-Edvin Jansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. GuateFortín's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Edvin Jansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Anaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodolfo Anaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Zico Zellier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the game, Artemio Javiero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tacheros OFF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GuateFortín the free kick. When Sven-Edvin Jansson came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the GuateFortín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Edvin Jansson couldn't finish the play. Rodolfo Anaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Máximo Perrone in the 41st minute of the match. Rodolfo Anaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute Sven-Edvin Jansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Anaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sven-Edvin Jansson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. GuateFortín's Heriberto Correa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hilario Boni, made in the 51st minute of the game. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Valentine, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Valentine in the 54th minute of play forced GuateFortín's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Anaya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 56th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Sven-Edvin Jansson could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Rodolfo Anaya however easily saved by the left post. 60 minutes in the game Artemio Javiero did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Christian Najarro. Sven-Edvin Jansson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Rodolfo Anaya when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tacheros OFF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Sven-Edvin Jansson scored to the left of an out of position Rodolfo Anaya, making the score, 0-8. After 90 played minutes Tacheros OFF got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Boni. 92 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's Sven-Edvin Jansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodolfo Anaya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Sven-Edvin Jansson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rodolfo Anaya, 0-9. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. GuateFortín had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
