Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sven-Edvin Jansson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sven-Edvin Jansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Zhang Hao Qing made a huge save. In the 4th minute, Andres Tufiño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven-Edvin Jansson had several of the Taltum FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 6 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Zhang Hao Qing as he didn't even see the shot coming. Zico Zellier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Zhang Hao Qing made a huge save. In the 14th minute, Ivan Lozano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute Flavio Cifuentes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Flavio Cifuentes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nery Pumpido. GuateFortín's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flavio Cifuentes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Cavenaghi in the 19th minute of the match. Nery Pumpido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Cavenaghi in the 19th minute of play. Zhang Hao Qing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to GuateFortín getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ivan Lozano hit a great ball. Roldan Castellanos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nery Pumpido. GuateFortín's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 25th minute of play forced Taltum FC's goalkeeper Zhang Hao Qing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Flavio Cifuentes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Cifuentes in the 28th minute of play forced GuateFortín's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zhang Hao Qing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 29th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flavio Cifuentes in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nery Pumpido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nery Pumpido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Cavenaghi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nery Pumpido didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavio Cifuentes went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The referee felt a red card was in order, 39 minutes into the game, when Ivan Lozano put in a rough tackle. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GuateFortín! Eliseo Umanzor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Zhang Hao Qing made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Norbert Dabrowski struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Nery Pumpido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taltum FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Cavenaghi got free with Nery Pumpido in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th minute, Espinosa Marco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zhang Hao Qing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Umanzor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nery Pumpido was a little too slow when Marcelo Cavenaghi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Taltum FC's zone, Eliseo Umanzor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zhang Hao Qing came out of the goal and Eliseo Umanzor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Taltum FC's Obregón Pardemanos was substituted for Flavio Cifuentes. GuateFortín made a substitution. Pablo Mora replaced Heriberto Correa. GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Cavenaghi in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Umanzor in the 68th minute of play forced Taltum FC's goalkeeper Zhang Hao Qing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nery Pumpido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Obregón Pardemanos in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thierry Henry in the 73rd minute of play forced Taltum FC's goalkeeper Zhang Hao Qing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute of the match GuateFortín got a corner. Taltum FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pablo Mora ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 75th match minute, Taltum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Obregón Pardemanos to maneuver through the defense. Pablo Mora recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Cavenaghi in the 79th minute of play. Obregón Pardemanos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Nery Pumpido made a huge save. Zhang Hao Qing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Umanzor, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute Espinosa Marco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Espinosa Marco, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Taltum FC were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after GuateFortín's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roldan Castellanos took the corner. Marcelo Cavenaghi made a great header on Taltum FC's corner, it was just that GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido managed to reach the ball for a save. Zhang Hao Qing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Gomez, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Gomez in the 94th minute of play forced Taltum FC's goalkeeper Zhang Hao Qing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Taltum FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
