Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rene Aires started the match with the kick off. Rene Aires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Loco De Remate's Walmir Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Rios in the 9th minute of play. Carabata Groove's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andreas Möller in the 10th minute. Cristobal Goito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Aires, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, Loco De Remate's Bruno Medero got a free kick in the 12th minute. Mauro Elazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Walmir Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walmir Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Möller in the 20th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Andreas Möller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmir Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Carabata Groove's goalkeeper Cristobal Goito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 25th minute David Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmir Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zachary Bielenda kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Carabata Groove's goalkeeper Cristobal Goito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Rene Aires made a precise shot to the right of Cristobal Goito. Carabata Groove's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Carabata Groove's Ambrosio Bartolome was substituted for Mauro Elazar. The wind increased when Hauk Hareide made the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, Rene Aires ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristobal Goito was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Loco De Remate's Hıdır Namal was substituted for Feliciano Iratxo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Aires in the 72nd minute of play forced Carabata Groove's goalkeeper Cristobal Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hauk Hareide could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Walmir Catarinense made a huge save. In the 78th minute Rene Aires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Goito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Carabata Groove's goal looked a bit too open when Hıdır Namal came free, but Cristobal Goito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hıdır Namal might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristobal Goito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
