Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Carabata Groove's David Rios started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Lake Mohawk FC's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Gherase had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Rios. Lucrețiu Gherase was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but David Rios showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Lake Mohawk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Dolcet came free, but Lucrețiu Gherase reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Dolcet took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucrețiu Gherase. Lucrețiu Gherase dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Lucrețiu Gherase took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Elazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucrețiu Gherase made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauro Elazar in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, David Rios dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lucrețiu Gherase, 3-0. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, David Rios put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lucrețiu Gherase. With his leg Lucrețiu Gherase managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Carabata Groove's David Rios fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 31st minute, Dan Feliciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucrețiu Gherase made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Mauro Elazar sent off a good shot on target. Cristobal Goito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jared Cotton, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute David Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucrețiu Gherase saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th match minute, Lake Mohawk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by C.J. Brewer to maneuver through the defense. Lucrețiu Gherase showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Möller in the 39th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Carabata Groove's corner Andreas Möller fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lucrețiu Gherase quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Singer in the 48th minute of play forced Carabata Groove's goalkeeper Cristobal Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Carabata Groove's Hauk Hareide was substituted for Andreas Möller. Carabata Groove's Herbert Pilipiec was substituted for David Rios. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dan Feliciano was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Jared Cotton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cristobal Goito. That made the score 4-1 in the 57 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lake Mohawk FC's Wendell Dickerson got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Ambrosio Bartolome recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute, Rory Talbot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lake Mohawk FC's Lucrețiu Gherase played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrosio Bartolome in the 67th minute of play. Carabata Groove were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Lake Mohawk FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ambrosio Bartolome took the corner. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Frasco Ferreira advanced and headed the ball into goal, 5-1 in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Hauk Hareide cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Lucrețiu Gherase was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 84th minute Hauk Hareide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucrețiu Gherase saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucrețiu Gherase showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hauk Hareide, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Hauk Hareide's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucrețiu Gherase read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Lucrețiu Gherase took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hauk Hareide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucrețiu Gherase showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hauk Hareide in the 90th minute of the match. Rory Talbot hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, Carabata Groove's Ambrosio Bartolome broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the referee ended the match the Carabata Groove players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
