Tartalo Delatorre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Voicu in the 4th minute. With a little luck, Atlético Grau Piura's Tartalo Delatorre got control of the ball when Bennvar Trollegaard tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tartalo Delatorre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Voicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Baraxil Sarrate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Oterino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlitos Paredes hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Atlético Grau Piura's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Voicu came free, but Tartalo Delatorre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. VILLARREAL UNITED's Valentin Voicu got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The tension between the Atlético Grau Piura and the VILLARREAL UNITED players grew even worse after the yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that VILLARREAL UNITED were the better team. VILLARREAL UNITED's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
