Zhang Hao Qing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Rios in the 7th minute of play. Cristobal Goito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Cifuentes, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Mauro Elazar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Zhang Hao Qing, passed just outside the right post. When Taltum FC's Norbert Dabrowski in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Carabata Groove's Mauro Elazar got a free kick in the 26th minute. Cristobal Goito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Cifuentes, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute Flavio Cifuentes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Goito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Cifuentes in the 32nd minute of play forced Carabata Groove's goalkeeper Cristobal Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Flavio Cifuentes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Goito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zhang Hao Qing came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Carabata Groove's David Rios. But to his dismay, David Rios quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Mauro Elazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Zhang Hao Qing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gunnar Björklund charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gunnar Björklund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Taltum FC made a substitution. Espinosa Marco replaced Marcelo Cavenaghi. Gunnar Björklund hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

In the 81st minute, Taltum FC's Urko Vinuesa seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Urko Vinuesa the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Taltum FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Urko Vinuesa had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 82 minutes of play, Carabata Groove's Verner Nordin made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zhang Hao Qing was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th minute Hauk Hareide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhang Hao Qing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Obregón Pardemanos might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristobal Goito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Obregón Pardemanos ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Obregón Pardemanos got free with Cristobal Goito in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zhang Hao Qing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hauk Hareide in the 98th minute of play.
