Lagrima en Jarrita's Loco Malo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 17th minute of play. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Cleto Firmin sped through GuateFortín's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nery Pumpido. After taking down the ball on GuateFortín's corner Angel Alvarenga fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Loco Malo quite easily take care of the ball. Máximo Perrone kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Llorian in the 27th minute of play. GuateFortín were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Lagrima en Jarrita's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Angel Alvarenga took the corner. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dalmacio Llorian made a kick off. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Figueroa in the 52nd minute of the match. Sven-Edvin Jansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Loco Malo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
