Hauk Hareide's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mateus Cruz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. A collision led to Carabata Groove getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Frasco Ferreira hit a great ball. Paolo Ruisko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Ruisko in the 12th minute of play forced Carabata Groove's goalkeeper Cristobal Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Carabata Groove's goal looked a bit too open when Cüneyt Berksoy came free, but Cristobal Goito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Hauk Hareide ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateus Cruz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Cristobal Goito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Ruisko, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Cristobal Goito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belchior Mamatov in the 19th minute of play. UPTEXTIL.COM made a substitution. Hugo do Valle replaced Zé Paulo Queirós. In the 26th minute, Gustaw Ludzia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristobal Goito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cüneyt Berksoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Cristobal Goito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cüneyt Berksoy's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After 37 minutes of play, UPTEXTIL.COM's Cüneyt Berksoy made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristobal Goito was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute Cüneyt Berksoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Goito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Carabata Groove defense, Paolo Ruisko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristobal Goito. The Carabata Groove fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristobal Goito should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Carabata Groove's David Rios was substituted for Hermengildo Bazkoare. Carabata Groove's Andreas Möller was substituted for Esteve Urtungo. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Rios to make the kick off. In the 62nd minute, David Rios got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristobal Goito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Ruisko in the 65th minute of play. When Cüneyt Berksoy came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the UPTEXTIL.COM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cüneyt Berksoy couldn't finish the play. Mateus Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Rios in the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Martin Ødegaard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UPTEXTIL.COM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Mateus Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alberto-Federico Acosta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute Alberto-Federico Acosta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateus Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Martin Ødegaard reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cristobal Goito. The goal made the score 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Ødegaard in the 88th minute of play forced Carabata Groove's goalkeeper Cristobal Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. UPTEXTIL.COM's Mateus Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto-Federico Acosta in the 92nd minute of play. With a little luck, Carabata Groove's Cristobal Goito got control of the ball when Martin Ødegaard tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Carabata Groove supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching UPTEXTIL.COM's performance. The match ended with a win for UPTEXTIL.COM.
