Fernando Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mala Lech, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 28th minute Dinu Ivănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Ángel Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Ángel Torres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 31st minute. Emiliano Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Ángel Torres having to interfere. Feliksas Fenichev made in the 37th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dinu Ivănescu immediately put the ball in play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emiliano Velasco in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Ángel Torres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miguel Ángel Torres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 42nd minute. After a rather tough play, Despidida AFC's Pastor Tino got a free kick in the 48th minute. After 49 played minutes Despidida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Tino. The Despidida AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LA LUZ F.C. were winning 0-1.

Fernando Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jailson Britto, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute, Emiliano Velasco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Despidida AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Kajetan Gdowik replaced Pastor Tino. Despidida AFC's Kajetan Gdowik got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Raymond in the 75th minute of play forced LA LUZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Raymond might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Ángel Torres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Raymond ran back to his position shaking his head. LA LUZ F.C.'s Miguel Ángel Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Raymond in the 79th minute of play. In the 84th match minute, Despidida AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Raymond to maneuver through the defense. Cain Velasquez kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Miguel Ángel Torres came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond. But to his dismay, Alvaro Raymond quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 97 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Ángel Torres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Despidida AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
