Juan-Ramón Verón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wawrzyniec Charamut read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute of the match Berserkers FC Ψ got a corner. De Boedo Vengo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Juan-Ramón Verón ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Steve Harris almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but De Boedo Vengo's Wawrzyniec Charamut did a great save. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Berserkers FC Ψ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cipriano Aresti was slow to take the kick. During this time De Boedo Vengo's players had a chance to rest. Berserkers FC Ψ's attack was well implemented in the 12th minute, but when Juan-Ramón Verón was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. 13 minutes into the game, Hilario Otsando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Boedo Vengo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Berserkers FC Ψ the free kick. In the 13th minute, Hilario Otsando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan-Ramón Verón in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wawrzyniec Charamut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hilario Otsando got a throw-in 19 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Norbert Chwalkiewicz. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan-Ramón Verón in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wawrzyniec Charamut saved De Boedo Vengo from getting behind. In the 21stth minute of the game Juan-Ramón Verón who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Boedo Vengo's Wawrzyniec Charamut was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. De Boedo Vengo's Wawrzyniec Charamut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan-Ramón Verón in the 23rd minute of play. Berserkers FC Ψ's Ramiro Gabrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Asier in the 28th minute of play. Jim Mannell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 minutes, Cipriano Aresti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Boedo Vengo and the Berserkers FC Ψ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cipriano Aresti hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Juan-Ramón Verón left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Berserkers FC Ψ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Wawrzyniec Charamut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan-Ramón Verón in the 38th minute of the match. Berserkers FC Ψ were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after De Boedo Vengo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juan-Ramón Verón took the corner. Berserkers FC Ψ's Severino Blanco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wawrzyniec Charamut in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan-Ramón Verón in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wawrzyniec Charamut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the De Boedo Vengo defense, Juan-Ramón Verón kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wawrzyniec Charamut. The De Boedo Vengo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wawrzyniec Charamut should have stopped the shot. The De Boedo Vengo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Berserkers FC Ψ were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan-Ramón Verón to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Juan-Ramón Verón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Charamut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 52 minutes De Boedo Vengo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Juan-Ramón Verón who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Iosif Budulea heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Juan-Ramón Verón could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Wawrzyniec Charamut made a huge save. Berserkers FC Ψ's attentive Arnoldo Txema managed to snatch the ball when Abelardo Felipo made a throw-in in the 75th minute of the game. Wawrzyniec Charamut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Ignacio Circelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Ignacio Circelli in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wawrzyniec Charamut saved De Boedo Vengo from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Juan Ignacio Circelli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wawrzyniec Charamut. That made the score 0-4 in the 80 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Steve Harris put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Wawrzyniec Charamut. In the 94th minute, Severino Blanco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The De Boedo Vengo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Berserkers FC Ψ's performance. The match ended with a win for Berserkers FC Ψ.
