When Piara Santo got free in front of the goal in the 4th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Jaime Senin was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With his leg Jaime Senin managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Waitakere F.C.'s Piara Santo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Waitakere F.C.'s Gar Gamel got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ's goal looked a bit too open when Piara Santo came free, but Jaime Senin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ's Efrain Incendio in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Waitakere F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Efrain Incendio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Burni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Jaime Senin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piara Santo in the 22nd minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Waitakere F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Incendio came free, but Marcos Burni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Burni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Incendio in the 34th minute of the match. Gar Gamel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jaime Senin firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Waitakere F.C.'s Gar Gamel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jaime Senin. That made the score 1-0 after 38 minutes of play. Efrain Incendio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Burni having to interfere. After some careless play in the Waitakere F.C. defense, Efrain Incendio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Burni. The Waitakere F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Burni should have stopped the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Efrain Incendio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ's attentive Aivo Viilop managed to snatch the ball when Jairo Virila made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Efrain Incendio got free with Marcos Burni in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Waitakere F.C.'s Eduardo Vasco was substituted for Gar Gamel. Waitakere F.C. made a substitution. Gabriel Batistuta replaced Piara Santo. Aivo Viilop made in the 60th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Waitakere F.C.'s Marcos Senesi. Marcos Burni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Incendio in the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Batistuta in the 68th minute of play forced ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ's goalkeeper Jaime Senin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaime Senin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nacho Scocco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Marcos Senesi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ's Luis Rius was substituted for Efrain Incendio. ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ's Jaime Senin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nacho Scocco in the 75th minute of play. Jaime Senin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Batistuta in the 77th minute of play. After 79 played minutes ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ got a freekick which was hit by Paata Gagnidze. Paata Gagnidze hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 81 played minutes, Waitakere F.C.'s Gabriel Batistuta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jaime Senin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Waitakere F.C. reached it. After 83 minutes of play, Waitakere F.C.'s Gabriel Batistuta made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jaime Senin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th minute, Luis Rius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Batistuta took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jaime Senin. Jaime Senin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Waitakere F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty!
