In the 7th minute, Edinson Haaland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jose Boldu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Edinson Haaland scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jose Boldu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Edinson Haaland managed to work through Deportivo ScrugenFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Edinson Haaland dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roni Ronaldinho during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Chinese CJ Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roni Ronaldinho to maneuver through the defense. Jose Boldu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinson Haaland in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edinson Haaland in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jose Boldu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jose Boldu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinson Haaland in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Günther Doty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Boldu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Boldu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edinson Haaland, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. A collision led to Deportivo ScrugenFC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Kieth Hustinx hit a great ball. Jose Boldu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinson Haaland in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

If Günther Doty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Boldu was a little too slow when Edinson Haaland got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-4. Jose Boldu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edinson Haaland in the 58th minute. Günther Doty hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Jose Boldu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Günther Doty in the 63rd minute of play. Deportivo ScrugenFC made a substitution. Zoil Pequeño replaced Kev Hurtado. Edinson Haaland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jose Boldu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After 79 minutes of play, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Lolo Moreno made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frank Frankfurter was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chinese CJ Youth Academy made a substitution. Yuan Ting Chao replaced Su Jian Jie. 83 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Lolo Moreno came free, but Frank Frankfurter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Edinson Haaland dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jose Boldu, 1-6. The Chinese CJ Youth Academy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chinese CJ Youth Academy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
