Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Paskal Ayarza started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Ryszard Prusinowski threw the ball into play from the sideline. KYRA FC's Mauro Bartolome quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. KYRA FC's Truman Harrington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Forbes in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. Independiente's goalkeeper Farid Mondragón, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 6 minutes into the match, Edmund Nocny notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of C. A. Independiente's Farid Mondragón. Farid Mondragón was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The throw-in from Ryszard Prusinowski in the 14th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by KYRA FC's Mauro Bartolome. Farid Mondragón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paskal Ayarza in the 15th minute of play. Edmund Nocny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Truman Harrington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kerry Sellers, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Farid Mondragón made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmund Nocny in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the match, KYRA FC's Edmund Nocny sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Farid Mondragón narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute KYRA FC were awarded a corner. Guaberto Bento went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 35th minute Xu Yun Quan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Truman Harrington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aureliano Heriberto hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Farid Mondragón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paskal Ayarza, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidney Forbes got free with Truman Harrington in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmund Nocny in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Farid Mondragón saved C. A. Independiente from getting behind. Truman Harrington made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sidney Forbes in the 56th minute. Truman Harrington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xu Yun Quan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of KYRA FC booed when C. A. Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryszard Prusinowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, C. A. Independiente's Truman Harrington threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kerry Sellers, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, KYRA FC's Truman Harrington got control of the ball when Xu Yun Quan tried to sneak it across the goal line. KYRA FC made a substitution. Saverio Regis replaced Aureliano Heriberto. A collision led to C. A. Independiente getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ryszard Prusinowski hit a great ball. Sidney Forbes hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. Independiente's goalkeeper Farid Mondragón, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ryszard Prusinowski charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ryszard Prusinowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of KYRA FC booed when C. A. Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryszard Prusinowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Edmund Nocny got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the C. A. Independiente defense, Edmund Nocny kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Farid Mondragón. The C. A. Independiente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Farid Mondragón should have stopped the shot. A throw-in in the 86th minute of the game was made by Ryszard Prusinowski with Alfredo Felder as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Farid Mondragón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Nocny in the 88th minute of the match. Kerry Sellers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Truman Harrington made a huge save. KYRA FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
