Washington Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Cina in the 12th minute of play. Jaime Alfonso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ysmael Marfil firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Jaime Alfonso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ysmael Marfil. That made the score 1-1 in the 18 minute of play. Aureliano Ovando kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. BELGRANO's zone, Augustin Văduvescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Washington Santos came out of the goal and Augustin Văduvescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Valerio in the 31st minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Cina made a kick off. The C. A. BELGRANO fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when C. A.
