Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Haydar Genişyürek kicked off to start the match. Velez Sarsfield's attentive Javier Pinola managed to snatch the ball when Roman Cielencki made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. Velez Sarsfield's Teodosio Sergi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haydar Genişyürek in the 14th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Velez Sarsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Haydar Genişyürek came free, but Teodosio Sergi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Molina in the 15th minute of play forced Velez Sarsfield's goalkeeper Teodosio Sergi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lazaros Kabantais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olliver Van Meirhaeghe in the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Carlos Larpe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Materos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Larpe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Teodosio Sergi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Los Materos FC's zone, Augusto Cordario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lazaros Kabantais came out of the goal and Augusto Cordario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Velez Sarsfield's Teodosio Sergi got control of the ball when Haydar Genişyürek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Haydar Genişyürek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Sergi having to interfere. Augusto Cordario struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Lazaros Kabantais didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Velez Sarsfield. Teodosio Sergi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haydar Genişyürek in the 40th minute. Velez Sarsfield's Teodosio Sergi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Larpe in the 43rd minute of play. Teodosio Sergi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Larpe went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augusto Cordario stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Haydar Genişyürek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodosio Sergi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Teodosio Sergi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Larpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haydar Genişyürek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Sergi having to interfere. Teodosio Sergi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haydar Genişyürek in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Velez Sarsfield's Gaston Ávila got a free kick in the 59th minute. Teodosio Sergi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haydar Genişyürek, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Romualdas Atkočiunas made in the 65th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Carlos Larpe. Teodosio Sergi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tincho Palermo in the 70th minute of the match. A hard shot 74 in the game by Augusto Cordario from a close distance when the talented Lazaros Kabantais managed to make a qualified save. Los Materos FC's players were relieved.
