Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Augusto Cordario started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Alfonso Festa stood somewhat misplaced when Augusto Cordario came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 4 minute. The throw-in from Edelmiro Jago in the 7th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Velez Sarsfield's Ando Averin. Augusto Cordario succeeded in the game's 11th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Velez Sarsfield's zone, Gustavo Eladio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodosio Sergi came out of the goal and Gustavo Eladio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfonso Festa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olliver Van Meirhaeghe in the 24th minute of play. Olliver Van Meirhaeghe took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfonso Festa. Alfonso Festa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Gustavo Eladio might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodosio Sergi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo Eladio ran back to his position shaking his head. When Velez Sarsfield's Augusto Cordario in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C. A. BELGRANO's goalie prevented a goal. In the 35th minute Velez Sarsfield were awarded a corner. Ignacio Berenguer went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Velez Sarsfield's corner Ignacio Berenguer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alfonso Festa quite easily take care of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeledon Maiorga during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Velez Sarsfield booed when C. A. BELGRANO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Maiorga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodosio Sergi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustavo Eladio went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

54 minutes in the game Edelmiro Jago did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Silvio Valerio. In the 59th match minute, Velez Sarsfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ando Averin to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Eladio scored 4-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodosio Sergi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. C. A. BELGRANO made a substitution. Aureliano Ovando replaced Gustavo Eladio. C. A. BELGRANO's Prudencio Cordarell was substituted for Adolfo Guib. C. A. BELGRANO's Nunez Noe was substituted for Silvio Valerio. After some careless play in the C. A. BELGRANO defense, Olliver Van Meirhaeghe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfonso Festa. The C. A. BELGRANO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfonso Festa should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Velez Sarsfield getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Olliver Van Meirhaeghe hit a great ball. Velez Sarsfield made a substitution. Leandro Berti replaced Ignacio Berenguer. Olliver Van Meirhaeghe kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Alfonso Festa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Cordario in the 78th minute of play. Augusto Cordario took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfonso Festa. Alfonso Festa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. Velez Sarsfield's Filomeno Montrell was substituted for Javier Pinola. C. A. BELGRANO's Alfonso Festa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Cordario in the 92nd minute of play. Alfonso Festa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Cordario's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. After 96 minutes C. A. BELGRANO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Filomeno Montrell who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Velez Sarsfield's Filomeno Montrell to fire away a dangerous shot which Alfonso Festa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Aureliano Ovando kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Velez Sarsfield were the better team. Velez Sarsfield's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
