The referee ignored GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's protests and gave Baturalp Volkan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Les Tigres booed when GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baturalp Volkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's Mustafa Ali Baysu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Laurendi in the 37th minute of play. Mustafa Ali Baysu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Iratze, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Mustafa Ali Baysu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Laurendi in the 42nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's Angelo Rojas threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kunter Ulus, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abel Laurendi made a kick off. Mustafa Ali Baysu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abel Laurendi in the 51st minute. When Guillermo Tano fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Les Tigres's protests and gave Guillermo Tano a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Les Tigres getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Guillermo Tano hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the game, Les Tigres's Niceto Rojas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mustafa Ali Baysu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Mustafa Ali Baysu came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Les Tigres's Abel Laurendi. But to his dismay, Abel Laurendi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Mustafa Ali Baysu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Steven in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Les Tigres's goal looked a bit too open when Kunter Ulus came free, but Angelo Rojas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rigoberto Iratze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Abel Laurendi took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Mustafa Ali Baysu to make any attempt to save it. Mustafa Ali Baysu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Iratze in the 75th minute of the match. After 76 minutes, Victor Steven mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Les Tigres and the GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR players grew even worse after the yellow card. Victor Steven hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Mustafa Ali Baysu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Iratze in the 85th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Rojas came free, but Mustafa Ali Baysu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Les Tigres's Abel Laurendi got a free kick in the 95th minute. Les Tigres's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
