In the 2nd minute of the game Damián Alcazar made a throw-in which Leonardo Colmenares played forward. Jorrin Briones might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melkior Thorslev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorrin Briones ran back to his position shaking his head. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Ferenc Tököli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Rapsodas Red Devils FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Cityzens Mdz getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Giandomenico Sella hit a great ball. Joseph Schwarzfischer was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jorrin Briones might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melkior Thorslev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorrin Briones ran back to his position shaking his head. 20 minutes into the match, Cityzens Mdz's goal looked a bit too open when Jorrin Briones came free, but Melkior Thorslev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Michael Callaerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferenc Tököli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damaso Lain in the 24th minute. Jorrin Briones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 36 minutes into the match, Cityzens Mdz's goal looked a bit too open when Jorrin Briones came free, but Melkior Thorslev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melkior Thorslev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorrin Briones in the 39th minute of the match. Ferenc Tököli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sixto Larra went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Cityzens Mdz's Damaso Lain slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ferenc Tököli. That made the score 2-0 after 47 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Rapsodas Red Devils FC booed when Cityzens Mdz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Larra didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Cityzens Mdz's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Salah came free, but Melkior Thorslev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melkior Thorslev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Salah in the 85th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerrold Taranco got free with Melkior Thorslev in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cityzens Mdz's Melkior Thorslev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Salah in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to Cityzens Mdz getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Damaso Lain hit a great ball. In the 94th match minute, Cityzens Mdz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Lain to maneuver through the defense.
