The audience thought a goal was coming when Renato Augusto got free with Alexandre Brasil in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lei Feng Yan in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexandre Brasil saved E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Lei Feng Yan put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alexandre Brasil. In the 10th minute Breno Vergílio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lei Feng Yan scored 2-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexandre Brasil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A throw-in in the 18th minute of the game was made by Tostão Motta with Ruy Melo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Bai Cheng Kang made in the 19th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Ruy Melo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horacio Sayveon in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Walme saved S.E.R. Caxias do Sul from getting behind. Aurelio Walme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Balasi in the 22nd minute of the match. If Vinicio Balasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Galip Özbekkan hit a great ball. Lei Feng Yan missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 34 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Alexandre Brasil right hand side. The supporters of E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE booed when S.E.R. Caxias do Sul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bai Cheng Kang didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Bai Cheng Kang in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Ruy Melo. Alexandre Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breno Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's zone, Horacio Sayveon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Walme came out of the goal and Horacio Sayveon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Geovani Medeiros made a kick off. Bai Cheng Kang hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute Lei Feng Yan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul booed when E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruy Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vítor Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Walme having to interfere. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lei Feng Yan took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Geovani Medeiros managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 67th minute, Lei Feng Yan made a precise shot to the right of Alexandre Brasil. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Horacio Sayveon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Aurelio Walme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lei Feng Yan in the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Breno Vergílio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexandre Brasil. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Breno Vergílio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After 78 minutes of play, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Breno Vergílio made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandre Brasil was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st minute, Geovani Medeiros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.E.R. Caxias do Sul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Alexandre Brasil came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Lei Feng Yan. But to his dismay, Lei Feng Yan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Lei Feng Yan managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's supporters rose to their feet, but Lei Feng Yan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Brasil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexandre Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovani Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 played minutes E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE got a freekick which was hit by Tite Pombo. Alexandre Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breno Vergílio in the 95th minute of the match. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
