Merusca F&P - CIMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcinho Sabóia in the 17th minute. In the 19thth minute of the game Belmiro Mello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Mauro-Facundo Buffon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Retumbante FC's zone, Florian Capasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilmer Gallo came out of the goal and Florian Capasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilmer Gallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Capasso in the 27th minute of play. Florian Capasso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilmer Gallo having to make a save. Naldo Sabóia hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute Merusca F&P - CIMZ were awarded a corner. Marcinho Sabóia went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Merusca F&P - CIMZ's corner Marcinho Sabóia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wilmer Gallo quite easily take care of the ball. Wilmer Gallo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florian Capasso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florian Capasso in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilmer Gallo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Mauro-Facundo Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Merusca F&P - CIMZ from getting a goal against them. Merusca F&P - CIMZ made a substitution. Rafael Couto replaced Florian Capasso. 78 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goalkeeper Mauro-Facundo Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Belmiro Mello. Rafael Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcinho Sabóia in the 82nd minute of play forced Retumbante FC's goalkeeper Wilmer Gallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Gonçalves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon made a huge save. 87 minutes into the game, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Rafael Couto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilmer Gallo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Wilmer Gallo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Couto's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute of the match Merusca F&P - CIMZ got a corner. Retumbante FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcinho Sabóia ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marcinho Sabóia made a great header on Merusca F&P - CIMZ's corner, it was just that Retumbante FC's Wilmer Gallo managed to reach the ball for a save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Retumbante FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Merusca F&P - CIMZ.
