Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 庄辉雄 to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Breno Vergílio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan Figlewski was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. When Lei Feng Yan fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's protests and gave Lei Feng Yan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, Lei Yong Yue left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abutres 2003 FDP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 89th minute, Daniel Owsiak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lei Yong Yue during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul booed when Abutres 2003 FDP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lei Yong Yue didn't get a good kick on the ball. Breno Vergílio scored 3-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Figlewski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aurelio Walme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael Paraense in the 95th minute of the match.
