In the 4th minute of the match, Vítor Vieira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Waldemar Pawlik was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 8 minutes Grimório's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Serginho Amorim who took care of the corner kick. 11 minutes into the match, Tite Pombo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Waldemar Pawlik, 1-0. A collision led to Grimório getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Konrad Värnik hit a great ball. Alo Ülipikk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Brasil having to interfere. Alo Ülipikk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Alexandre Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tõnis Kaldvee, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Grimório's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Sayveon came free, but Waldemar Pawlik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 28 minutes, Alo Ülipikk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grimório's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alo Ülipikk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The throw-in from Paavo Lutsar in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Tite Pombo. In the 32nd minute Tõnis Kaldvee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandre Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tõnis Kaldvee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horacio Sayveon got the audience’s attention when, from a short distance, he fired away a great shot in the 40th minute of the game. The shot hit the left post and bounced out. The supporters of Grimório booed when E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruy Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Horacio Sayveon came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Sayveon couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kajar Püss to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Galip Özbekkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Grimório's Alexandre Brasil threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kajar Püss, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alexandre Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kajar Püss in the 60th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Grimório's Tõnis Kaldvee slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alexandre Brasil. That made the score 1-1 after 62 minutes of play. In the 67th minute, Grimório's Tõnis Kaldvee dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Grimório's Joel Lüüs was substituted for Renaud Van de Put. A collision led to E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Tostão Motta hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alo Ülipikk in the 75th minute of play forced E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goalkeeper Alexandre Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Ruy Melo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Paavo Lutsar, made in the 78th minute of the game. 79 minutes into the game, Kajar Püss cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Alexandre Brasil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 84th minute of the match Kusti Jaas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexandre Brasil skillfully saved the ball. In the 91st minute, Horacio Sayveon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. When the final whistle sounded Grimório left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE.
