Renan Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Sobral in the 17th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Joel Campos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octavian Jähnigen was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. When Cris Gol came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Predador Brasiliense MZBR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cris Gol couldn't finish the play. Renan Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cris Gol in the 28th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Cris Gol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renan Melo was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Despite this Octavian Jähnigen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Predador Brasiliense MZBR's zone, Roman Koenig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavian Jähnigen came out of the goal and Roman Koenig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A.A. Francana's Renan Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Sobral in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Predador Brasiliense MZBR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandrinho Almeida to maneuver through the defense. After 47 minutes of play, Predador Brasiliense MZBR's Cris Gol made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renan Melo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Cris Gol made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Ali Kürşat Aurelio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Predador Brasiliense MZBR and the A.A. Francana players grew even worse after the yellow card.
