When Roy Makaay, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 51 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The João Francisco Loyola was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 54th minute Roy Makaay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Francisco Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano Diaz took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nenko Reza. Nenko Reza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. João Francisco Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Angulo in the 62nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Birol Gezer during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Birol Gezer hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Villaverde Celeste Clube.
