Gu Zhan Wei came out of the goal and Burak Onal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gu Zhan Wei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burak Onal, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. But to his dismay, Burak Onal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After the first half Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 54th minute, Luciano Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Academia Santista CIMZ's Vladimir Tande couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa. Lütfi Kutlubay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Barreto in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th of the match, Thibault Delanoë tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Gu Zhan Wei got in the way and made a wonderful save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
