After a rather tough play, Que se abra o mar's Bebeto Pimenta got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 4 minutes of play, Academia Santista CIMZ's Felipe Nerio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sandro Tepedino was left in no man's land by his defense there! 7 minutes into the match, Academia Santista CIMZ's goalkeeper Gu Zhan Wei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Lewandowski. With his leg Gu Zhan Wei managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Que se abra o mar's Tomas Lewandowski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Academia Santista CIMZ getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Aníbal Rosado hit a great ball. When Tomas Lewandowski came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Que se abra o mar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Lewandowski couldn't finish the play. Academia Santista CIMZ's Gu Zhan Wei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Academia Santista CIMZ from getting a goal against them. Márcio Almeida charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Márcio Almeida the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, Márcio Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Academia Santista CIMZ's Gu Zhan Wei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Academia Santista CIMZ from getting a goal against them. Erasmo de Azevedo hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Lando Norin didn't quite understand what happened when in the 40 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Leopoldo Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 44 minutes, Tomas Lewandowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Que se abra o mar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Lewandowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amílton Pereira during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Academia Santista CIMZ's Amílton Pereira got a free kick in the 48th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Santista CIMZ's zone, Tomas Lewandowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gu Zhan Wei came out of the goal and Tomas Lewandowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Lewandowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Lewandowski scored 3-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gu Zhan Wei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Silvinho da Silveira fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Que se abra o mar's protests and gave Silvinho da Silveira a yellow card for diving instead. Que se abra o mar made a substitution. Baltazar Botelho replaced Ivar Eriksson. A collision led to Que se abra o mar getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Silvinho da Silveira hit a great ball. Gu Zhan Wei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Van Elsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Felipe Nerio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academia Santista CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Nerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandro Tepedino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gu Zhan Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Botelho in the 69th minute of play. Tato Vega took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gu Zhan Wei. Gu Zhan Wei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Que se abra o mar's Sandro Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Nerio in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Leopoldo Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Baltazar Botelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Academia Santista CIMZ getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Eliodor Stoica hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Academia Santista CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Tato Vega came free, but Gu Zhan Wei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Academia Santista CIMZ defense, Tommy Van Elsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gu Zhan Wei. The Academia Santista CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gu Zhan Wei should have stopped the shot. Gu Zhan Wei came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Que se abra o mar's Lando Norin. But to his dismay, Lando Norin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. 94 minutes into the match, Academia Santista CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Van Elsen came free, but Gu Zhan Wei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Que se abra o mar walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
