Hugo Ibar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tao Ke Qiang in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th match minute, Defensores de Belén was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Frantzes to maneuver through the defense. Tao Ke Qiang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanasis Papadimitriou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksander Fafinski in the 14th minute of play. With a little luck, Caroya Forever's Hugo Ibar got control of the ball when Tao Ke Qiang tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tao Ke Qiang struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Hugo Ibar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores de Belén. 23 minutes into the match, Defensores de Belén's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Garikoitz came free, but Thanasis Papadimitriou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Tao Ke Qiang could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Hugo Ibar however easily saved by the left post. Thanasis Papadimitriou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Pacifico in the 29th minute of play. Thanasis Papadimitriou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksander Fafinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Ibar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tao Ke Qiang in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Tochi Mur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Fafinski in the 42nd minute of play forced Defensores de Belén's goalkeeper Thanasis Papadimitriou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 played minutes Defensores de Belén got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Salvator. In the 46th minute Tomás Pacifico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanasis Papadimitriou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Defensores de Belén's zone, Aleksander Fafinski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thanasis Papadimitriou came out of the goal and Aleksander Fafinski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Hugo Ibar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tao Ke Qiang in the 51st minute of play. In the 55th minute, Tao Ke Qiang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Defensores de Belén fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 61st match minute, Defensores de Belén was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Salvator to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Caroya Forever's Flavio Federigo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Tao Ke Qiang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Hugo Ibar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanasis Papadimitriou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teofilo Ulizes in the 84th minute. After 85 played minutes Defensores de Belén got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Abastas. Defensores de Belén's Thanasis Papadimitriou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Defensores de Belén from getting a goal against them. Defensores de Belén's Virgilio Salvator quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Constantino Ihazintu, made in the 91st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Belén's Virgilio Salvator got a free kick in the 96th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
