LOS MENTI's Şenol Güneş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksander Fafinski in the 7th minute of play. David Gagriel charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Gagriel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 10 played minutes LOS MENTI got a freekick which was hit by David Gagriel. In the 10th minute of the match Tomás Pacifico sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Şenol Güneş skillfully saved the ball. 12 minutes into the match, LOS MENTI's goal looked a bit too open when Batı Tomurcuk came free, but Şenol Güneş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caroya Forever's Tomás Pacifico was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Şenol Güneş in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. LOS MENTI's Şenol Güneş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save LOS MENTI from getting a goal against them. The supporters of LOS MENTI booed when Caroya Forever was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Corderro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Şenol Güneş made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomás Pacifico in the 33rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcial Eztebe made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batı Tomurcuk in the 65th minute of play forced LOS MENTI's goalkeeper Şenol Güneş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şenol Güneş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksander Fafinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute, David Gagriel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Caroya Forever's Bernardo Corderro got a free kick in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Caroya Forever's goalkeeper Hugo Ibar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcial Eztebe. Ignacio Santxol hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Şenol Güneş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batı Tomurcuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Georges Grün hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute of the match Tomás Pacifico shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Şenol Güneş showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, LOS MENTI's Hugo Ibar threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcial Eztebe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 92 minutes into the match, Batı Tomurcuk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Şenol Güneş. LOS MENTI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Batı Tomurcuk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Batı Tomurcuk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caroya Forever's supporters rose to their feet, but Batı Tomurcuk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şenol Güneş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the LOS MENTI players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Caroya Forever.
