With a left leg Thanasis Papadimitriou saved Defensores de Belén from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anier Selatse in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thanasis Papadimitriou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Defensores de Belén's Zbigniew Wyciszkiewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanasis Papadimitriou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anier Selatse's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Tao Ke Qiang dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leopoldo Lop, 1-0. After having played for 25 minutes, Tao Ke Qiang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores de Belén's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tao Ke Qiang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Defensores de Belén's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Selatse came free, but Thanasis Papadimitriou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GRINGO FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ryszard Nalaskowski in the 28th minute. The corner led to GRINGO FC's Kacper Piatek getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Leopoldo Lop came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores de Belén's Tao Ke Qiang. But to his dismay, Tao Ke Qiang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 36th match minute, GRINGO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Traiphob Nejmann to maneuver through the defense. Tao Ke Qiang might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leopoldo Lop. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tao Ke Qiang ran back to his position shaking his head. After 40 played minutes GRINGO FC got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Emrah Kadri. After a defensive mix-up in Defensores de Belén's zone, Anier Selatse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thanasis Papadimitriou came out of the goal and Anier Selatse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Tao Ke Qiang made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Mehmet Emrah Kadri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GRINGO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores de Belén the free kick. The supporters of Defensores de Belén booed when GRINGO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Emrah Kadri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanasis Papadimitriou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anier Selatse's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Leopoldo Lop took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tao Ke Qiang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Tao Ke Qiang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leopoldo Lop was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. In the 73rd match minute, GRINGO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryszard Nalaskowski to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Belén's Graham Ashton got a free kick in the 75th minute. If Fabian Polo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomiro Anaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute of the match GRINGO FC got a corner. Defensores de Belén's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ryszard Nalaskowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. 86 minutes into the match, GRINGO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zbigniew Wyciszkiewicz came free, but Leopoldo Lop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Defensores de Belén were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after GRINGO FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gaston Frantzes took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of GRINGO FC's goalie and right to Zbigniew Wyciszkiewicz. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. GRINGO FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. A collision led to Defensores de Belén getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Virgilio Salvator hit a great ball. Tao Ke Qiang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Leopoldo Lop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
