James Harden's late challenge caught a LOS MENTI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. James Harden helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, Quebrachitos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by James Harden to maneuver through the defense. Quebrachitos FC's Celestino Pes quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hermengildo Soin, made in the 16th minute of the game. When Enrique Neron fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quebrachitos FC's protests and gave Enrique Neron a yellow card for diving instead. Oscar Ekhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco George in the 23rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Quebrachitos FC's Şenol Güneş threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emanuel Mogel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Quebrachitos FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Joel Senin hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Quebrachitos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Cedro came free, but Oscar Ekhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quebrachitos FC's Enrique Neron got his second yellow card of the match in the 34th minute. The referee ordered Enrique Neron off the ground. After 35 played minutes Quebrachitos FC got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Neron. Albino Garaona hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. With a little luck, LOS MENTI's Şenol Güneş got control of the ball when Marcell Pécsi tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Quebrachitos FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. James Harden hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Marcell Pécsi made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, LOS MENTI's Georges Grün got a free kick in the 52nd minute. James Harden was shown his second yellow card after 53 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 54 played minutes Quebrachitos FC got a freekick which was hit by James Harden. Şenol Güneş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcell Pécsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. LOS MENTI's Şenol Güneş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcell Pécsi in the 67th minute of play. Oscar Ekhi made an important save on a dangerous shot by 汪常然 in the 71st minute. Hermengildo Soin made in the 79th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Marco George immediately put the ball in play. Hermengildo Soin made in the 81st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Quebrachitos FC's Celestino Pes. In the 83rd minute Marcell Pécsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şenol Güneş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 汪常然 couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes into the match, LOS MENTI's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Pes came free, but Şenol Güneş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the LOS MENTI players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Quebrachitos FC.
