The ball had pretty good speed, but Ovidiu Caranfil firmly grabbed it by the left post. 9 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Ovidiu Caranfil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Lobo. Bruno Macario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Panțuru in the 15th minute of play. Club Vertigo's Ovidiu Caranfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Cheche in the 18th minute of play. Ştefan Panțuru might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Macario. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ştefan Panțuru ran back to his position shaking his head. Bruno Macario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Panțuru in the 19th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Club Vertigo's Well-Well Benne nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Macario made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 31st minute, Reynaldo Raebert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 played minutes Berutti FC got a freekick which was hit by Victor Restu. When Damian Tirulescu fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Vertigo's protests and gave Damian Tirulescu a yellow card for diving instead. Reynaldo Raebert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Caranfil having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Angelino Castulo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Berutti FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Reynaldo Raebert came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Berutti FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Raebert couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After 55 minutes, Nechifor Cucerdean mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Vertigo and the Berutti FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ovidiu Caranfil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Lobo in the 56th minute of the match. Reynaldo Raebert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Edelmiro Cheche left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Berutti FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 77th minute, Club Vertigo's Wang Jun Bo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Wang Jun Bo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Club Vertigo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Wang Jun Bo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Club Vertigo's Wang Jun Bo got a free kick in the 77th minute. Reynaldo Raebert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ovidiu Caranfil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Ovidiu Caranfil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Cheche in the 82nd minute of play. 4-1 became the score in the 87th minute when Sebastian Lobo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Iulian Lovin charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iulian Lovin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 93 played minutes Club Vertigo got a freekick which was hit by Iulian Lovin. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Berutti FC fully deserved thier win.
