Isaias Sazon might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virgilio Quentin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaias Sazon got free with Virgilio Quentin in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pastor Frantzes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Azeari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute Hector Azeari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Frantzes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isaias Sazon made a kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 53 minutes into the game, when Long Chao Jun put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Sajones F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC:s goal. Joaquin Ur received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pastor Frantzes came out and tried to block the shot, but Joaquin Ur slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 85th minute. After 87 minutes, Roberto Eutor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC and the Sajones F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card.
