After 12 minutes of play, Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Löv was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bicicleta F.C.'s goalkeeper Tony Löv, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tony Löv narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 27 minutes Bicicleta F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucas Martínez Quarta who took care of the corner kick. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Gabriele Batistuta sped through Bicicleta F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tony Löv. Tony Löv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Linhares to maneuver through the defense. If Antoine Griezmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Bicicleta F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Menchu FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bo Lennartsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Lennartsson came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriele Batistuta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Tony Löv made a huge save. Bicicleta F.C. made a substitution. Segundo Feliu replaced Lucas Basualdo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriele Batistuta got free with Tony Löv in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 78 played minutes Menchu FC got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Linhares. If Bo Lennartsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bo Lennartsson in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Salvidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernardino Edwardo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. With a little luck, Bicicleta F.C.'s Tony Löv got control of the ball when Gabriele Batistuta tried to sneak it across the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Gabriele Batistuta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tony Löv. Gabriele Batistuta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Menchu FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
